The Agency Worker guidance notes long since promised by the Department of Enterprise Trade and Innovation have finally been published.
The guidance notes, available

http://www.djei.ie/employment/rights/taw.htm), seeks to give a better understanding of the Protection of Employees (Temporary Agency Workers) Act, 2012, and outlines the obligations and responsibilities for all parties involved.
The guidance provided covers;
- Who the Act does/does not apply to
- The Obligations on Agencies and Hirers
- What is meant by basic working & Employment Conditions
- A definition of what is included in "Pay"
- guidance on the Swedish Derogation, or payment in-between assignments
- Redress options for Agency Workers
