Tribunal awards will vary dependent on the issue suffered by the employee and the impact that this is deemed to have on them by the tribunal. Some tribunal claims have compensation award limits so that the amount awarded will not go over a certain level. However, other claims, such as discrimination, have uncapped awards. Awards may be composed of more than one part, for example, where an employment tribunal decides that an employee has been unfairly dismissed, it must award a basic award and may also award a compensatory award. With effect from April 2018, the limits applying to certain awards of employment tribunals and other amounts payable under employment legislation in Great Britain increased as follows:
Employment right | Maximum award |

- Have they got a job?
- If not, when are they likely to get a job?
- How marketable are they in the current climate?
